Privacy Policy

This privacy policy describes how Mythic Vitals ("the app"), operated by Csaba ("we", "us"), collects, uses, and protects your information. Mythic Vitals is a fantasy role-playing game for Android that converts your real-world health activity into in-game resources.

1. Data we collect

1.1 Google account data (sign-in)

If you choose to sign in with your Google account, we receive from Google:

• Your email address
• Your display name
• Your profile photo

This data is used only to identify your account, sync your game progress across devices, and display your name and avatar inside the game. We do not use it for advertising and we do not sell it.

1.2 Health data (Android Health Connect)

With your explicit permission, the app reads the following data types from Android Health Connect:

• Steps
• Active calories burned
• Hydration (water intake)
• Sleep
• Exercise sessions
• Active minutes

This access is read-only. Mythic Vitals never writes, edits, or deletes any data in Health Connect. You grant these permissions yourself when you first set up the app, and you can review or revoke any of them at any time in your Android system settings (Settings → Health Connect → App permissions). Revoking a permission simply means the corresponding in-game resource falls back to its baseline value; the app keeps working.

1.3 In-app feedback

If you submit feedback through the in-app feedback form, we collect the text you write and, for signed-in users, the account identifier it was sent from, so we can respond and diagnose issues.

2. How your data is stored and used

• Health data stays on your device. The raw measurements read from Health Connect are processed and stored locally on your phone.
• Signed-in users: derived gameplay values — such as your daily resource counts, character progress, levels, gear, and battle results — sync to Google Firebase (Cloud Firestore) so your progress is backed up and available across devices. These derived values are computed from your health data, but the raw health measurements themselves are not uploaded as your health record and are never shared with other players.
• Multiplayer: in PvP duels, the Ashen Spire, leaderboards, and any other multiplayer feature, other players only ever see abstracted gameplay scores on a 0–100 scale. Your raw steps, calories, sleep, hydration, or exercise data are never exchanged with, or visible to, any other player.
• Guest mode: you can play without any account. In guest mode, nothing is uploaded — all game data and all health-derived values stay on your device only. If you uninstall the app in guest mode, that data is gone.

3. Data processors

We use Google Firebase and Google Cloud Platform (provided by Google LLC) as our data processor for authentication, database storage (Cloud Firestore), and hosting. Data handled by Firebase is processed according to Google's Firebase privacy documentation. We do not use any third-party advertising or analytics networks.

4. What we do not do

• We do not sell your data or share it with advertisers.
• We do not use your Google account data or health data for advertising of any kind.
• We do not write to Health Connect.
• We do not share raw health measurements with other players or any third party other than the processing by Firebase described above.

5. Data retention and deletion

Synced game data is retained for as long as your account exists. You can request deletion of your account and all associated data at any time:

• Email us at csiga1222@gmail.com from the address associated with your account, with the subject "Account deletion".

We will delete your account record and all synced gameplay data from Firebase within 30 days of a verified request. Data stored locally on your device can be removed at any time by clearing the app's storage or uninstalling the app; health data in Health Connect belongs to Health Connect and is unaffected by anything the app does.

6. Children

Mythic Vitals is not directed at children under the age required for digital consent in your country. We do not knowingly collect data from children below that age; if you believe a child has created an account, contact us at csiga1222@gmail.com and we will delete it.

7. Changes to this policy

If we change this policy, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for material changes affecting signed-in users, notify you in the app before the change takes effect.
